ADXL345 3-axis I2C SPI accelerometer module.
Use with Klipper for 3D printer resonance measurement .
The ADXL345 module GY291 is a small, thin, low power, 3-axis accelerometer with high resolution (13-bit) measurement at up to ±16g.
Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit twos complement and is accessible through either a SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface.
It measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock.
Its high resolution (4 mg/LSB) enables measurement of inclination changes less than 1.0°.
The ADXL345 is ideal to use for Measuring Resonances with Klipper based 3D printers.
Several special sensing functions are provided which can be mapped to 1 of 2 interrupt output pins.
Activity and inactivity sensing detect the presence or lack of motion and if the acceleration on any axis exceeds a user-set level.
Tap sensing detects single and double taps.
Free-fall sensing detects if the device is falling.
ADXL345 is very low power (25uA in measurement mode & 0.1uA in standby),
and can be used to put your device into sleep mode when you're not using it
Onboard Voltage regulator allows 3v3 or 5v operation
PCB size: 1.3 x 2.3 cm
Applications:
Hard disk drive (HDD) protection
Gaming and pointing devices
Personal navigation devices
Industrial instrumentation
Medical instrumentation
Handsets
